Redwood Classics Raises Funds for PPPC's Scholarship Program

TORONTO, ON – At this year’s PPPC National Convention, Made-in-Canada supplier REDWOOD CLASSICS APPARELadded a new cause to its roster: the PROMOTIONAL PRODUCT PROFESSIONALS OF CANADA’S (PPPC) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM, which gives Canadian students the supports necessary to becoming valuable contributors to the branded merchandise industry and the Canadian economy. Visitors to the show were invited to stop by the REDWOOD CLASSICS booth to select their very own unique pair of RW X PRELOVED mittens. Pieces from the collection, which won gold in the Best in Green category at the 36th Annual Image Awards, were available for a minimum donation of just $20.

“By recycling textiles, this collection takes a completely unprecedented approach to being environmentally and socially conscious,” said KATHY CHENG, FOUNDER OF REDWOOD CLASSICS APPAREL. “We’re proud of the industry for rallying together to support up-and-coming talent by donating a small amount for a pair of our mittens.”

“Since its launch in 2010, REDWOOD CLASSICS has continued to push the envelope in our industry,” said ED AHAD, PRESIDENT & CEO, PPPC INC. “This is a company that truly practices what it preaches. This donation is very much appreciated.”
