Grazing in the Field

WINNIPEG, MB, SEPT 1, 2015 – Dairy Farmers of Manitoba is thrilled to announce that this year’s Grazing in the Field farm dinner experience will feature locally produced apparel. Handcrafted by renowned Canadian clothing manufacturer Redwood Classics Apparel and distributed by Talbot Marketing, Canada's leading promotional products distributors, the premium cotton tees will be given to each guest in attendance.

Hosted by Marcus, Paige, Armand, Antje and Irma Dueck, the hotly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Four Oak Farms near Kleefeld, Manitoba.

Aptly dubbed the “Milk & Honey Edition” for Kleefeld, Manitoba’s high concentration of dairy farms and apiaries, the sold-out event will treat guests to the ultimate seven-course dining experience on the Dueck Family dairy farm. The tickets, which come with a $150 price tag, include a farm tour, a spectacular locally sourced meal by Winnipeg chef Ben Kramer as well as an exclusive made-in-Canada tee shirt.

“The Dueck family and Dairy Farmers of Manitoba are excited to be hosting the event,” dairy farmer and DFM Vice-chair Henry Holtmann said. “We are looking forward to welcoming our guests and showing them how dairy farmers live and farm each day.”

“Our mandate is to keep business on Canadian soil,” added Kathy Cheng, Founder/President of Redwood Classics Apparel. “Like Grazing in the Field, our apparel products are made locally and sustainably. Each of the 100 guests will go home with a responsibly sourced meal in their stomach and a made-in-Canada shirt on their back.”

“We’re honoured to be associated with Grazing in the Field,” said Danny Braunstein, Talbot Marketing’s VP Business Development. “Partnering with Redwood Classics Apparel and Dairy Farmers of Manitoba to bring Manitobans a taste -- and feel -- of Canada will be a truly unique experience.”
